This policy explains what data DataFoxy handles, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and only collect what our tools need.
Who is responsible
DataFoxy is responsible for the data described on this page (the data controller). You can contact us at any time at [email protected].
What this website collects
This website has no accounts and no forms. Like any web server, ours keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
Cookies and local storage
We store your language choice in a cookie (datafoxy-locale) and your analytics consent choice in your browser's local storage. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.
Analytics
If you accept, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. If you reject, or make no choice, these tools are never loaded. These providers may process data outside the European Union under their own safeguards.
Instagram Follower Analyzer
The analyzer works with an Instagram data export that you upload yourself — we never ask for your Instagram password. The file is processed on our server to generate your report and is then deleted; we do not keep it.
Lunch Discovery
Lunch Discovery shows nearby restaurants with their daily menu and price. When you call a restaurant, the call is made directly from your phone; DataFoxy is not involved in the order.
Hosting
The website and our tools are hosted on servers located in the European Union.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service for technical logs and for processing the files you choose to upload.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Changes to this policy
We may update this page as our tools evolve. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
